Danny Drinkwater, Chelsea midfielder, was arrested for driving while being unsober and causing a collision.
The crash happened at night from Monday to Tuesday, when Chelsea – West Ham match took place. The player was coming back from a charity event and crashed his Range Rover against Skoda. In the accident three people were lightly wounded, but the cars were more destroyed. Now Englishman after he left an arrest on bail is facing a lawsuit on May 13th.
29-year-old is completely not taken into account while the squad is being chosen this season, he doesn’t even sit on a bench, he focuses on off-the-pitch issues. This time he went too far and he will face consequences of this.
Maurizio Sarri didn’t refer to cause on a press conference before match versus Slavia, but he confirmed the player status in the club.
