Eden Hazard, Belgian winger put a stamp on career at Stamford Bridge in the best way possible. In the Europa League final against Arsenal he scored two goals and assisted once, what caused winning the game and Man of the Match title for him. Now it’s time for a new challenge for 28-year old, who in the post match interview announced, that it’s probably a goodbye with London team. Belgian is on his way to Real Madrid, what he has dreamt about for a long time. This time it’s probably going to happen, two clubs have to decide on the cost of the transfer.
Hazard created similar soap opera before the transfer to Chelsea. Interest in the player was gigantic, as he was leaving Lille as the best footballer in Ligue 1 being only 21. He narrowed down his choice to two Manchester clubs and Chelsea. Finally because of the Champions League win he chose “The Blues”. In his first season in London he was a hit and proved he’s going to be a great reinforcement to the team. Except for the 2015/16 season, when winger had a drop in form, he was the key player, who rule the whole offensive and scored crucial goals. Lately he had to carry the whole team on his shoulders, as the rest could help him a lot. Belgian can blame the management for inefficient transfers, who proved to be failures. Hazard himself became one of the best players in Premier League, being at the top of goalscorers list and assist providers as well.
In 352 games in Chelsea shirt he scored 110 goals and provided 92 assists. He contributed to two Premier League titles, FA Cup, League Cup, two Europa League trophies. He can easily be called legend, who will be missed at Stamford Bridge.
