Jannik Sinner just won his first ATP Masters 1000 title. Sinner won the Canadian Open. He celebrated his triumph with an unusual friend.

In his first ATP Masters 1000 final, Australia’s Alex de Minaur claimed Jannik Sinner was just too strong right now, losing 4-6, 6-1. By winning this match, Jannik Sinner reached for the Canadian Open trophy. This is his first ATP Master 1000 tournament title. It is the second most important title after grand slams.

Sinner is only the second Italian to win a tournament of this caliber. He decided to celebrate his success with an unusual companion – a shaggy dog.
