A Polish forward is still in an incredible form. A worse run could come sooner or later, but it lasted for only five games and it is long forgotten now. Yesterday Piątek gave his team three points in one of the hardest away games in a season, against Atalanta Bergamo, by scoring twice.

In the new red-black colors he didn’t score only on his debut against Napoli, when he appeared on a pitch on 71st minute. In the next four games he was a starter and repaid for manager’s trust with six goals. He scored twice in Coppa Italia against Napoli, what eliminated Carlo Ancelotti’a proteges from the cup, equalised versus Roma, he crossed the T’s and dotted the I’s against Cagliari and added a brace to gain a win versus Atalanta. The Pole not only scores on call, but his goals ensure important points.

Due to such an effectiveness he breaks records – nobody has ever scored six goals in Milan shirt faster than Piątek. Any worries if he would make it in the new team can be set aside – the Pole is not going to stop. He would take advantage of any opportunity. In yesterday’s match after a cross from a left wing, he overtook a defender and surprised a goalkeeper with an acrobatic finish.

He scored 17 league goals this season, with only Cristiano Ronaldo above him. Without penalties he netted 15 times, the most in the league ex aequo with Duvan Zapata, his yesterday’s rival. He added 8 goals in Coppa Italia, what makes him the top goalscorer in this tournament.

These goal achievements placed him second in the top five leagues next to Robert Lewandowski, counting every tournament. Only Lionel Messi is better with 30 goals. 23-year-old is higher in the juxtaposition than top class players. The accomplishment is especially splendid, that Piątek is playing his first season abroad, in contrast to their opponents. Such a progress didn’t achieve neither Arkadiusz Milik nor Robert Lewandowski, who fired with form in his second campaign in Bundesliga.
