Lewis Hamilton has criticized the FIA over their investigation into alleged leaks of confidential information from FOM to Toto Wolff, Mercedes boss, and his wife. Hamilton defends Wolff.
The FIA has launched an investigation into the alleged leak of secret information from FOM to Wolff and his wife Susie. Toto Wolff allegedly knew before everyone else about exceeding Red Bull’s budget limit, 2023 car designs, as well as about the new technical rules imposed in Singapore.
December 5 this year The FIA said it would launch an investigation into these disturbing reports. The Wolffs maintain their innocence. Lewis Hamilton decided to speak on the matter. The 38-year-old took part in the award ceremony in Baku for the three best drivers of the championship. Wolff’s absence from the event was noticeable. Hamilton, who has been close to Woff since joining the team in 2013, appeared at the ceremony to accept his award and said a few words.
“Mamy wielu ludzi, którzy wykonują niesamowitą pracę, walcząc o integrację i różnorodność w sporcie, w F1 i ogólnie w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym.
