According to Kees Jansma, Dutch journalist connected with national team, Arjen Robben is going to retire after this season. Rumours said, that 35-year old maybe will choose MLS as a next destination, but probably he will finish his prolific career.

Dutch winger had an incredible time in the best leagues in the world. He started in Groningen, where he spent two years and later decided to move to bigger club in Eredivisie – PSV. He was even more deadly in front of a goal, what caused a transfer of 20-year-old to Chelsea, which has been completing their master squad after Abramovich arrival as an owner. Even though he struggled with injuries in England, he became one of the brightest stars in Premier League. His speed, incredible dribbling, creativity and deadly finish made him a complete winger.

In 2007 he signed with Real Madrid. Injuries stopped though his incredible career at Bernabeu and after only two years he moved to Bayern Munich. Finally he stayed somewhere for a longer time and made an impact on club’s history. In Germany he won seven championships and is about to achieve the eight one. He also scored a goal in the Champions League final in 2013, last Bayern triumph in this tournament. This year his club lost only in German super cup and won every other trophy possible. He’s also eighth top scorer in club’s history.

His only regret could be only a silver medal in the World Cup, but no team could stop Spain in 2010. He also has been eliminated in semifinals four years later, when Netherlands lost the match after penalty shootout. His career is still incredible though, with 11 championships in four different countries, fourteen domestic cups, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, one of each. Now he will be able to rest and enjoy his deserved retirement after long and happy career.
