On the other hand Benelux countries had no problems with achieving three points. Netherlands won against Belarus 4:0 and Belgium outplayed World Cup quarterfinalists, Russia, 3:1.

Polish fans were interested the most with a match against Austria in Vienna. After Krzysztof Piątek appeared on the pitch, he scored the only goal of the game. It was the first win of Poland national team under Jerzy Brzęczek and achieved on the toughest away game in eliminations.

The other games haven’t ended with a surprise. Cypr crushed San Marino 5:0, Northern Ireland won against Estonia 2:0 and Slovakia won against Hungary with the same result. Northern Macedonia outplayed Latvia 3:1 and achieved the first place in Group G, where Poland also tries to advance to Euro. Lower places in the table have Israel and Slovenia, which drew 1:1.
