England gave another golden generation of players to the world. Current youngsters are so talented, that despite their age they can already play in the squad of the best clubs in the world. Among Callum Hudson-Odoi, who receives more and more chances from Maurizio Sarri, or Phil Foden, whom Pep Guardiola trusts, Jadon Sancho deserves the most attention.
Englishman decided to leave Manchester City, where in his opinion he wouldn’t receive a lot chances. It would be quite possible, considering ‘The Citizens’ squad full of big stars. As a one of the few compatriots he decided to move abroad, to Borussia Dortmund. He went under the wings of German team’s new manager, Lucien Favre. In offensive style of play, which Swiss prefers, he plays splendidly from the beginning.
For the first two months he was a substitute, but the minute he appeared on the pitch, he had an immediate impact on team’s result. In his league debut against RB Lipsk he provided an assist. After producing two last passes against Bayern Leverkusen the coach decided to choose him as a starter.
Englishman thanks to his creativity, pass accuracy, fantastic technique and shooting skills became one of the main leaders in the team. During the matches he looks like football is just a play, even though it’s his first season in one of the biggest leagues in the world. He already scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in Bundesliga, as the only teenager in the top competitions. He has also the most last passes in the league.
Sancho has everything to become a world-class player and win Golden Ball in the future. Despite his young age he makes good decisions for his career, and if everything goes well, he will join a bigger team soon.
