Leo Messi doesn’t need to prove his class. He showed many times his skills out of this world and achieved everything on the club level, but he still can find an aspect, which makes fans surprised because of Argentinean’s genius.

Living Barcelona legend after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure is undoubtedly the brightest star in La Liga and every other player hides in his shadow. 32 goals scored in the league and 12 assists added, providing points when needed – Barça thanks to one player will probably win the title. Similarly well he plays in the Champions League, where he scored 8 times and was involved in four goals against Olympique Lyon in the crucial match to advance to quarterfinals.

This time he delighted fans with perfectly executed free kicks. Messi scored from set pieces in 28th gameweek against Betis, then versus Espanyol and Villarreal. With the team from Seville he shooted with the inner part of the foot from around 25 metres and the ball ended under the bar. He started scoring and the final result was 4:1 for Barcelona.

In the next two matches the team struggled against their rivals. Until 71st minute Ernesto Valverde’s proteges couldn’t score in the derby, but Messi came to the rescue. The free kick was close to the penalty box line and Argentinean decided to lob the wall and the defender while trying to stop the shot, he put the ball in the net. The goal was given to Barcelona player though, and his team won 2:0.

The team faced even more dramatic situation against Villarreal. The hosts were leading 4:2 until 90th minute, when Messi scored powerfully just outside the box. The ball hit the post and landed into the net, giving no chance for the goalkeeper. Just a few minutes later Suarez equalised.

There is nothing impossible for Argentinean. Interesting thing is, that he seems like prefer shooting from free kicks than from penalties, but thanks to this we can admire beautiful goals, even every week.
