Premier League has been incredible this season. The best two teams in the league history fighting for the title, the next four competing for the places in the Top 4. Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp created unbeaten monsters and only because of lack Spaniard can cheer because of lifting the trophy.
Liverpool can be really upset about the final game. Klopp’s proteges has done everything good to finally win the title. Van Dijk became Player of The Season, Alisson received Golden Glove for the most cleansheets this season (21), two of their players, Salah and Mane, became the top goalscorers. ‘The Reds’ lost only once, conceded the fewest goals in Premier League and were the leaders on Christmas, what is mostly the omen of the future title. In the last ten years only one team didn’t win the championship while being on the first place in the end of a calendar year it was Liverpool exactly. For the third time.
Manchester City on the other hand is experienced in the league matches for the biggest stake. In 2012 they took the title out of Manchester United’s hands in the injury time of the last game. Last year no one could compete with ‘The Citizens’, as they gained 100 points and were 19 points above ‘The Red Devils’. This time they didn’t feel any pressure and even though they conceded a first goal against Brighton, they answered with another four and threw Liverpool’s dreams about the title out of their head.
