UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin believes Britain should host the World Cup final in football in 2030, 64 years after England won at home.
“After all these years there is time left for that part of Europe to win the World Cup,” said Ceferin Friday.
The manager of the European Football Association (UEFA) further indicated that it would be wise if the British football federations worked on the project together, rather than England seeking solely.
The International Football Association (FIFA) prefers more countries to join forces to host the World Cup in the future. The final game in 2026 is awarded to the United States, Canada and Mexico.
